The first step to restoring healthy core function is by learning how to breathe effectively, allowing the diaphragm and pelvic floor to move and work together, moving downwards and relaxing on inhalation, and lifting back upwards on exhalation.

You will need a yoga block or a bender ball/pilates style ball.
